Just because you going Keto or Modified Atkins, doesn't mean you have to miss out on everything.
The modern diet has far too much sugar, so lets make some Delicious Twix without sugar.
Some baking in this recipe, but its really easy to make and well worth the small effort that it takes to make.
Healthy KETO TWIX ladies and gentlemen
butter 4 1/2 tbsp
erythritol 1/4 cup
almond flour 1 1/2 cups
brown sugar replacement 1/2
butter 5 tbsp
erythritol 1/4 cup
heavy cream 1/2 cup
vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
xanthum gum 1/4 tspn
50gm No sugar Lindt Milk Chocolate
50gm No Sugar Lindt Dark Chocolate
Pre heat oven 325 F or 160 C
Mix flour and erythritol with melted butter
Pour mixture into an baking dish lined with baking paper
and press mixture firmly into baking dish
Bake for 15-18 min or ,until golden brown
Remove and let cool to room temp.
heat pan to medium heat.
combine white and brown sugar in pan with butter.
bring to boil and heat for 3-5 minutes stirring. remove from heat and add cream and vanilla. sprinkle in xanthum gum and whisk to combine.
bring to boil , cooking for another 2-3 mins until mixture has thickened.
Remove from heat and let caramel mixture cool. when at the consistency for pouring, layer over the biscuit base.
place masterpiece in freezer to set, roughly for 1-2 hours.
Melt chocolate in bowl in microwave for 1 minute. Stir and continue melting at 30 sec intervals.
Grab masterpiece out of freezer, and with a cool knife slice into thin bars.
Place one bar into molten chocolate, and once coated place on tray and when all completed return to freezer for setting.
Let these babies cool in the fridge to set and then enjoy.

Chocolate: sugar 5gm, carbs 45gm
Caramel: 4 gm sugar, 4gm carbs
Biscuit base: sugar 5.8gm, carbs 5.8gm
This makes 12 fingers, so per serving
