HOW TO MAKE HAZELNUT CHOC "BACI" BOMBS


Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Coarsely Ground Roast Almonds

  • 20 Hazelnuts

  • 2 tbsp Salted Butter, divided

  • 200gms Hazelnut Cashew Butter (we used Noya Hazelnut Cashew Butter)

  • 3 tbsp of Brown Sugar Alternative, or Powdered Erythritol

  • 1 tspn Vanilla Extract

  • Lindt"No Sugar"Dark Chocolate 100gms, whole bar, 100gms 9 (40gms carbs, 1gm Sugar), we will only use half the chocolate.*

*NB: any Dark Lindt Choc in the Range of >90% Cocoa is fine as a substitute.


1 Cup Coarsely ground Almonds 2.5 tbspns Salted Butter,  divided 200gms Hazelnut Cashew Butter  ( we used Noya Hazelnut Cashew Butter) 3 tablespoons of Brown Sugar Alternative, or Powdered Erythritol 1 tspn Vanilla Extract Lindt"No Sugar"Dark Chocolate 100gms, whole bar, 100gms 9 (40gms carbs, 1gm Sugar), we will only use half  the chocolate.*

Recipe Instructions

Place 1 tablespoon of the Butter and the Hazelnut butter into a Microwave safe bowl. Microwave at 30 second intervals until completely melted and well blended.

Add Erythritol and Vanilla Essence to the Mixture

Stir until mixed well and place in freezer for 30 mins to set.

Remove from Freezer and roll mixture into small balls, making roughly 20. Make a small hole in the ball and insert hazelnut and cover .



Grab the Lindt chocolate and break into small pieces in a bowl. Add 1 tbsp butter and temper in microwave at 30 sec intervals, stirring between heating.

When melted take chocolate mixture and grab your balls. Dip the balls into the Warm Chocolate using two spoons.

Choc Hazelnut Heaven


Place on Baking paper and put in the Fridge to set.


You have now achieved Choc Hazelnut Heaven.

You will use half of the melted chocolate in the recipe, so use the remainder for another recipe.

Its just easier to use more to dip the balls in. So we only need to count half when calculating the nutritional composition. For the remaining chocolate you can throw in some of your favourite nuts or coconut and make an extra treat.
